Eligibility of maternity leave benefit

What is the minimum number of days of work a pregnant woman must do in a year before her delivery date to be eligible for availing maternity leave in her second pregnancy?

As per the  2017 amendment to the Maternity Benefit Act 1961 act, it is mentioned that a minimum of 80 days of work must be completed.

If some employee joins a govt department on 30 Jul 24 and availed leave for 12 days wishes to avail maternity leave from 27 Oct 24 is she eligible for the maternity leave benefit?

Please give your valuable opinion.

To be eligible for maternity leave in India, a female government employee must meet the following conditions:

Have worked for at least 80 days in the 12 months before the expected delivery date

Maternity leave can be taken up to 8 weeks before the expected delivery date, and the remaining leave can be taken after delivery. The leave must be taken within 6 months of the delivery date
