Employer not releasing full and final amount

Hi

My employer is not paying my Full and Final. They have issued me a signed Full and Final settlement letter on my last day (7th June 2024) and have signed the no-dues form.

But now, they keep postponing the day of payment (now 52 days since exit). Also they have started a new email thread on pending work which as per them is either wrong or not done during my tenure (mail sent to me 50 days post my exit).

I am getting worried that they will not pay me. What are the actions that I can take? I have sent them 2 mails regarding this as there has been no reply.

Send them a legal notice to settle your final payment through a lawyer.

The emails will fly in the air and most of the employers do not reply to the emails sent by ex employees.

Therefore you discontinue the practice of adopting the email mode to communicate the information with the employer in future too.

The letter written and sent as hard copy by registered post  to the employer will be a record and the office copy will be a documentary evidence to you for pursuing the matter in furtherance including through legal forums.

Now you send a legal notice by registered post with acknowledgment card demanding the F&F settlement giving a fixed time to settle the same failing which, you can inform that you will proceed legally against them for recovery.
