Error in grandfather name while buying plot in mew planning

Hello

My father have purchased a plot in 1984. That plot was taken by govt for construction of road. In return govt has allotted another plot after years. Now when i have gone to UIT to take papers of new plot they said that my grandfather name is not correct in papers so you have to correct the name of your late grandfather. Now i have contacted the seller of the plot and he personally know my whole family and aggred that he has sold the plot to my father and my grandfather name was written incorrectly.

(Actually my father has puchased a plot in new planning and seller has taken out 200 plots to sell from his land .Out of 200 one plots is of my father and the seller have done registry of all together (samuhik registry)

Now when i am going to registry office they are saying that i have to bring all other 199 buyer to pf the plot for witness that my grandfather name is correct or not.

Now i have questioned there that the agreement was made between the buyer and seller of plot and i do not even know rest 199 other buyer so how is it possible for me to bring all 199 people in the office to proof my grandfathers name. This made me laugh at them that for just a small error which is in knowledge of both buyer and seller they are callng whole people of colony to come and say yess his grandfather name was correct.

The property was acquired by government from the landowner and it was decided to allot a new plot in lieu of the acquired plot.

Therefore if the government authorities did not notice the error while acquiring the same, how come they came to know that your granfather's name is incorrect.

You can file a suit for specific relief against the government to deliver possession of the compensatory plot in lieu of the one already acquired.

There is no necessity to approach the registrar for this because he is not knowing what is being rectified.
