Exemption import duty and excise for water treat ment plants

Dear sir/madam,

I am setting up packaging drinking water industry in karnataka, i want to import machineries from china. i heard of  that if we import  water treatment plants and other auxillary machines ,there is full excemption  import duty and  excise tax available.is it sure or not,i want to confirm,pls any of you help me in this regard.
