Expat deceived by south indian

Im a 29yr old American presently based in Mumbai, with 2 kids and have been in a relationship with an Indian for 3.5 years after which he proposed and asked me to marry him, We have been living together for over 1 year ,and 7 months ago he forced me to abort my child after i found out I was pregnant, stating that we would would have a child after marriage and now wouldnt be ideal since we werent married. He even moved to Mumbai over a year ago to be closer to me.

Recently he has told me to f**k off as his parents will not accept the fact that I have children and he is also not comfortable with the idea, although he knew about this for over 3 years!

I have been so distraught that I attepmted suicide 2 weeks ago, this is just such an awful thing to do to someone.

Please let me know what my options are.

marriage should not be a play... must involve parents and relevent documents for eventualities... if you are american why do you stay here while hoards line up for h1b... smells fishy... half story... in india adultery is not punishable... can always claim live in maintenance but may not marry him... contact local lady lawyer who may help you...

Im not sure exactly what smells "fishy" . I took a position here as my boyfriend was here and it was a well paying position.. not sure what hoards of people lined up for H1B's has to do with me...

. First step is to seek True Copy of Consent Form of termination of pregnancy from the clinic (if it was done in a clinic) as such records are kept mostly for 6 monhts as per our Laws. If it has his signature then a good case stands in Indian Court of Law.

2. Second step is to hire a criminal law knowing local Advocate after due diligence and narrate all that you have mentioned here factually. S/he will set the IPC law in motion on your behalf and it is all doable exercise for foreigners living in
India as they are covered under IPC.

3. Third step is to gather all to/fro correspondence with this person from your belongings and keep them in evidence condition for trial court usage from time to time.

Your case is similar to lots of our Indian metro ladies cases and I do not see any reason that you may be intentionally telling us some sob stories that also before legal forum.

However compose, call friends / family over for sharing and regain strength from these faith trickesters hurt and injuries and wish you all the best you shall get Justice in due course of time.
