Bhadrak: A 32-year-old woman in Bhadrak district of Orissa has alleged that her 58-year-old father has been raping her for past 14 years.
The victim's father has been arrested but the tale of the father allegedly keeping his own daughter as a s*x slave for 15 years has come as a rather rude shock for many.
The girl alleges that the father has been s*xually abusing her repeatedly and making her undergo several abortions.
"I have lost fifteen years of my life to this torture and rape by my father. All I want now is justice and protection for my two children. I have nothing more to loose. If I do not get justice I will kill myself and my children," said the alleged victim.
The woman's father is a wealthy money lender who married her off to a poor farmer and forced the couple to stay at his house so that he could continue raping her.
When he attacked her recently and stopped her from going to the police, some locals stepped in and rescued her.
A social activist, Sophia Sheikh said, “We have given her shelter and would give her all legal support to get justice."
The SP of Bhadrak, Kishore Kumar Dangayata said, “We have sent the father to judicial custody. Our investigation is on and we are waiting for the medical report to file charge sheet."
