Father's name correction in my birth certificate.

Anyone please help me. I am from Coimbatore. My DOB is 28/04/1995 And my father name is Dharmaraj. My parents got my birth certificate after two or three months of my birth. In that certificate my dad name was wrongly mentioned as Nagaraj. In my all other school and college document it is correctly mentioned as Dharmaraj. Now iam getting problem to apply the passport. Please share the procedure to me to get my dad name to be corrected in my birth certificate.
