Final decree proceedings case

My client was cheated in to purchase a land on which a partiition suit was pending in court. The decree was also obtained by those parties. When FDP was in progress, my client came to know about the case. Now my client has come in as an impleading party in the Final Decree proceedings. It is required to ask for setting aside the FDP proceedings till the appeal on the decree of the original suit is admitted in higher court. What are the grounds on which we can ask for setting aside the FDP proceedings? Property is in Karnataka.
