Final settlement problem

Dear Sir,
I was working for a Limited Company and i resigned my job from 20 may 2011 by giving 30 days notice period. But I arrears (Final Settlement) are not yet settled from the company. Last week the company has sent partial amount as Final settlement and said there was calculation mistake remaining amount will be settled ASAP. But nothing is been processed. Regularly i am following up but nothing is happening. Due to this inconvinience i took some amount as loan from bank for 3% interest to fulfill my commitment and i am paying interest from 3 months to bank. Please suggest whether i can serve notice to the company to make payment along with compensation for inconvinience...

Please do the needful. Awaiting for your kind reply.

Have you received the F&F? If yes, then on which date? Have you acknowledged the receipt and accepted the F&F?

If your effective date of resignation is 20^th mat, 2011, then almost 90 days are over. It appears company’s responses are verbal only.

If you have received the F&F but a partial payment then company is deficient of fulfilling its responsibility and you should rather submit your written protest, under acknowledgment, to your appointing authority, MD, HR Head, and Company Secretary.

If nothing works you can lodge complaint with o/o Labor Commissioner.
