Fir for compensation claim

Hi

I asked for an FIR to submit it to court. It's a compensation claim in court. The police replied that an FIR is not needed for real estate claims and compensation/reimbursement lawsuits.

Is it correct?

Compensation for "real estate" claim is a civil case but not a crime to register FIR, it is your misconception.

If you require a copy of the FIR, then you can file a copy application along with a third party affidavit with a vakalatnama to an advocate in the local and get the certified copies of the FIR from the court directly instead of begging the police.

Yes ,claims of compensation for real estate comes under purview of  civil cases for that no FIR is required.

Ok! With this I can catch my fraud lawyer because now the matter is that I can get an FIR from court as well but he deliberately didn't get it. The reason court wanted fir was due to grammatical errors in four or five sentences. I hope the Vakalatnama is applicable in every high courts?

sketchy facts indicate version of police as valid.
