First hearing missed 498a, dv

neither my  husband nor his lawyer  appeared on the first hearing,  DV. wht could be the consequences or wht kind of strategy they are planning?

pls tell me i m worried...

Congrats on that.


Husband did not appear, his lawyer also did not appear.  What will happen next is, if both keep missing dates for DV case, summons will be issued to husband, the lawyer's name will be shouted out three four times, to appear, failing to appear subsequently, would lead to warrant issue on your husband, and for the lawyer, the day he appears in the court, he will be made to pay fine for not appearing in court.
