notaries are subject to the Right to Information (RTI) Act.
The RTI Act requires that records be properly maintained and available.
The notary is responsible for keeping and maintaining their own notary register.
The RTI Act allows for requests for information from notaries. For example, an RTI application could request information about the fees paid to a notary, or the number of pages in the Notary Act.
The Law Department has designated the Deputy Secretary to Government as its Public Information Officer(PIO) for all matters concerning this Department..
Any person requiring any information under the said Act may contact Deputy Secretary to Government, Law Department, Secretariat.

Could you ask the notary concerned for a copy of an entry he made in the register using RTI? He shall keep the notarial register with him. He is responsible for his notarial register.
