Respected Sir
My gratuity of Rs.6.00 lakhs was forfieted by the employer in December 2014 for the reason 'Moral turpitude' as per Gratuity Act applicable in Mumbai/Maharashtra
My appeal to the Employer is rejected stating that there is no provision for appeal
The estimated loss to the Employer is calculated at Rs.2.00 lakhs
What is the procedure to claim this amount ?
Whether I am eligible for interest on Gratuity which is denied to me in 2014

What were you doing from the year 2014 to this date.
You should have approached the commissioner for gratuity with an application venting out your grievances seeking to redress the same.
If your representation to the commissioner did not fetch desired results then you should have approached court of seeking relief and remedy.
You can resort to legal action at least now
