pls. file an application before same magistrate or seek a mandamus from high court directing the police to proceed in accordance with law in your complaint.

Dear Sirs,
After repeated requests, the police registered the FIR based on the court's direction. But they are not doing any investigation and not requesting the bank to get the documents. ANd the police is saying that they will transfer the case to the town where my wife submitted the forged FDR slip to the bank.
At this stage, Can I request the local Hon'ble court to take the cognigence?
Thanks,
Venky

Dear Sir,
As the Police is not doing any investigation and saying that they will transafer the case to other town, Can I request the magistrate at this stage to take the cognizance of the case and send the summons to my ex-wife who had done forgery...
Thanks,

The police can not transfer the case after order of the Court. Kindly come with next question after approaching the Court as advised earlier.
