Fraud in land sale

Hi,

We brought and registered the land on 2007, but we didn't claim the document as seller said we will provide you in 2 to 3 days. Last week I have taken a EC, EC says some X person got power on 2009 and they sold that land on 2010 to Y person. but we did give any power to anyone. while selling the land they signed like me and pasted someother person photo saying that he is the land lord.

Please anyone guide me what I need to do?

Thanks

Jayakumar

According to REGISTRATION ACT 1908,. [proviso to section 32A].

If document relates to transfer of ownership of immovable property, passport size photograph and finger prints of each buyer and seller of such property shall be affixed to document. . The Registrar is required to ensure that these are endorsed on the document.

In your case,if you registered your transfer with registrar then your fingerprint and photo was in the register of registrar. You can file a sue against that person and for evidence you will demand for a register of registar, because your fingerprint might be there.
