I am very glad to know about free IPR courses. I am doing P.G.Diploma in IPR laws from NLSIU, Bangalore.   I would like to know more about WIPO free courses.  I have gone throught the WIPO Academy website for free courses.  But I have some doubts.  They are

1. Does the WIPO give certificate of course after completion?

2. As I am doing PGDIPRL do I get any additional knowledge and preference in jobs?

3.  Where do I need to go for writing  examination (I am the resident of Hyderabad)?

Will these courses help me in clearing Indian patent agent examination?

 This patent course will give you good knowledge and information and will also be helpful for Patent Agent Examination. But Like you give IAS exams from history and You studied history in your bachlor degree. Then your bachelor degree with history is helphul for IAS, but it needs sometning more than that to clear IAS with history as a paper. Same applies here for Patent course and Patent Agent Examination.

I have a PG degree in biotechnology & have 2 years of research experience. Now I am working on management side. I want to know the opportunities in IPR sector for freshers. Do i need to clear patent agent exam or a simple course in IPR will do.

You have good opportunities as you have BioTech Degree. IPR Course will not be that much useful as the Patent Agent Examination will be.
