Last working day was on 1st July 2019. My company owner has not paid the settlement amount. Whenever I ask be is saying that the company is running under loss so cannot afford me to pay. Does this condition valid in court and stop me being paid the amount if I file a case? Also he has not provided the payslips and appointment letter as well. Whenever I asked he used to tell he will give me later. Only offer letter was provided whem I joined in April 2019. Also while giving the salary he used deduct 200 as profession tax and pay .e the salary (30000-200=29800). The company is in Hyderabad, can I file a case from Karnataka as I am staying here now. I'm not even sure if he has a registered company or not. Please suggest on how to proceed.
