General diary

After my wife left her matrimonial house around 3 months back, i had made a general diary with local PS. She is staying at her father's house since then. In between when she had served a legal notice for reconciliation of marriage and i had responded positively, i had submitted that information too at the local PS. My wife has not gone for any reconcilation actually and now there is a distinct possibility that a 498A case can be made by her any time. One of my collegaues say that to prevent such an event, it will be better if i send a copy of the GD and reconciliation notification to the PS of my wife through speed post for their information. Actually since the police harass common people like anything and i have been a victim of that, i do not want to go physically the local PS of my wife and hence speed post. Is this a feasible advice given to me?

The Investigation Branch which does investigation and showcauses husband / his side for interrogation in Jurisdiction Police Station where complaint lodged and Prosecution Branch which actually issues FIR on recommendation of case IO are distinct in a Police Station setups, so even if you bundle the dozen GD's tonite by Speed Post it will only lie in some drawers of DO receiving days dak at Jurisdiction police station as you don't know who is who as in case Officer there when she has not even moved her index finger right now! Righto !!!

Rest are your choice ...............
