General query

dear lawyers/experts - when you are acquitted from criminal charges/after trial, what will happen to your case document? will court destroy the complete case doc along with evidence etc. after appeal is expired?

if i am wrong, what will court actually do as per their process? please highlight me.

It will be available upon filing only after the appeal period

I had filed a police case against one person. After that I heard nothing from anyone. No notice nothing. But yesterday I heard from one lawyer that this case is closed. Is it possible to close the case without my knowledge?

Try to gather the information about your case proceeding from the police first and then court?

thank you for your response. i am looking more on the basic process.

does court maintain evidence & exhibits, all parts of each and every case for a life time?

or

does court destroy all the docuemnts/judgements/evidences after some time say. one year or 2 years?
