What is the context for this query?

In response to your query,

D patta is conditional land, prohibits transfer of assigned land and is only inheritable at present. This land is assigned for cultivation purposes only and no transaction such as sale or buying can happen on this land. Conversion is permissible for non agricultural purpose such as conversion into a residential land.
