Yes he can gift it validly by way of a registered gift deed.

Dear sir ,
I have a small query that what is the difference between sale deed and gifted deed . If a person do gifted deed can anyone challenge it . Please ill be obliged if I get answer to it .

Both words are related with transfer of immovable asset. But sale deed is based on monetary consideration while Gift deed is based on familial ties. On the point of challenge of the deed in future both are prone to it.
