Gift settlement deed

My mother-in-law is transferring the property to my wife through an unconditional Dhana Settlement (deed), as she is a blood relative. My wife’s younger sister is also willing to sign as a witness. In this case, who will be the legal successors to the property after my wife?

If your wife gets the property through registered gift deed the the property will be considered your wife's self acquired property and she can transfer the property to anyone  during her lifetime as per her wish,if she wnatd to bequeath the property to either her legal heirs or anyone she can execute will in favour of beneficiary and of dhe died intestate then property rights shall devolve to her husband ,daughters and sons equally.

As suggested earlier you may better get the property transferred to your name by getting a registered sale deed executed on your name.

"...................... who will be the legal successors to the property after my wife?"

Why this apprehension?

A repeated query in another way.
