granddaughter rights on ancestral property

Hello,

My father along with his two brothers shared/partitioned some joint family agricultural land in Andhra Pradesh, India , which they got it from their father (i.e my grandfather) and after my grandfather's death in the year 1979. My grandfather passed away without leaving any WILL. In year 2002, my father sold his share from above partitioned land to someone without my permission even though I was major by then. I came to know about above sale only recently and would like to file a suit against the buyer. We are Hindu family. What options do I have here? What are the chances for me to win the suit?
I really appreaciate all your replies. Thanks a lot.

You have right to challenge - your case depends on successful proving or disproving of your collusion with your father. in filing of this suit. by the defenders.  You have to add your father also as an adverse party to the suit.
