Heir of tenant in commercial establishments

My grandfather rented out a shop at amonthly rental of Rs 45 in the 60's. Both my Grandfather & the original tenants are now deceased, The premises is lying closed for the last 30 years with no electricity but posession is not being handed over by the heirs. What are our chances of gaining an eviction as the possession of the premises is being held not for business but for extorting money.

Just file an eviction suiot and prove that you need the prmises for your personal use, also you must prove that the shop remained closed frol last few decades.

What about the rent ?  Have you issued any notice in the past rejecting to accept rent as the premises is not used and sought for vacation of premises for your own use at any time ?  Who are in possession?  What are the evidences to show that they are carrying on any activity ?  All these issues can be handled by a local advocate and not through forum guidance.

file a suit for eviction in the court having jurisdiction. gather all the necessary documents, and consult an advocate.
