Dear Friends,
Plz read the judgment proprly, here the judge said, cousen brother / sister not real brother or sister.
Even Today law is same but in every relgion there are some estopples and it is all about Spinda Ralationship, which we follow and respect each other.
Judge over here only decided that as in christian or even in Muslim law, a person can marry her cousin but not real. So it we want to take any voice then it should be
"EQUITY IN EVERY LAW IN WHOLE INDIA" Means the reform is reuqire to change and channelize all the matrimonial laws so that such people may not reach to marry thier own sister or mother.
M i right or wrong you all can decide. Regards to all of you.
"Pulling up the father for filing case against his son, the high court recently said, "This type of thinking is spoiling the broad thinking of new generation and at times it leads to honour-killing. "
My point is thet to became more broad minded / more progressive/ more modern /etc etc one day someone or GROUP may call for other incest marriage. That day is very near and be ready for that. But for MODERNITY's sake dont drag HINDU word in it . it is personal choice of individual and forced upon us by nehru type of congressi.
British founded congress for that and nehru superbly implemented british agenda on INDIANS.

Muslim inbreeding is causing a massive surge in birth defects:

Phil Woolas, an environment minister, said the culture of arranged marriages between first cousins was the “elephant in the room”. Woolas, a former race relations minister, said: “If you have a child with your cousin the likelihood is there’ll be a genetic problem.” The minister, whose views were supported by medical experts this weekend, said: “The issue we need to debate is first cousin marriages, whereby a lot of arranged marriages are with first cousins, and that produces lots of genetic problems in terms of disability [in children].”https://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/politics/article3342040.ece
Banned in Holland
The Dutch cabinet wants to ban marriages between cousins and to introduce harsher educational requirements for import brides, PM Jan Peter Balkenende told the Parliament Thursday.https://islamineurope.blogspot.com/2009/09/netherlands-govt-to-ban-cousin.html
Massive burden on health service
Medical research suggests that while British Pakistanis are responsible for 3% of all births, they account for one in three British children born with genetic illnesses. The question to think about is: Could the practice of interbreeding be the key to the success and longevity of Islam? Could it be that the genetic and mental illnesses borne of interbreeding are a factor in the unquestioning nature of the majority of Muslims regarding spirituality?https://jacksachinghead.blogspot.com/2008/12/inbreeding-and-its-effects-on-genetic.html
Successive generations of cousin marriage damage the genes and produce widespread idiocy and insanity

quote from my own posting above:
Now coming to the incest relationships, so much hue and cry is made out. My simple question is this. You are criticising christians and muslims for allowing such relationships in their personal laws. so far, so good. For health reasons and for healthy future generations, I also do not support such relationships. But what about Hindus? In Andhra Pradesh and some parts of Tamil Nadu. Hindus are allowed sapinda relationships. A boy can marry the daughter of his sister, daughter of maternal uncle (not maternal aunt), daughter of paternal aunt (not paternal uncle). Seventy five percent of marriages in Andhra Pradesh happen in such a way. They are as much Hindus as you are. Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 gave exemption to such marriages on the basis that the customs allowed it and as per the Act, even though they are sapinda relationships but are legally valid marriages.
Now read Section 5(iv) &(v) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955:
(iv) The parties are not within the degree of prohibited relationship, unless the custom or usage governing each of them permits of a marriage between the two;
(v) The parties are not sapindas of each other, unless the custom or usage governing each of them permits of a marriage between the two;
Most of the marriages in Hindus in Andhra Pradesh (about 75% marriages), some parts of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka are held between blood relations and are valid under these provisions.
