Hindu succession act

Can anyone please let me know if my Fathers real sister's sons have an equal share in the anscestral land or not.

My Grandfather expired in 1967 and and  fathers sister expired in 2010.

My fathers sister got married in 1962  . How does Hindu succession law of 1956 and the ammendments till 2005 impact on this share wether it will be equal or not?

Ashutosh,

your father's nephews have a right on the property to the extent of their mother's share. It depends on how many children your grandfather had. Your aunt's marriage in 1962 has no significance here. The nephews will have lost their right  -- only  if partition had been done amongst the family members before 2005.
