Request you to explain what is the procedure for Declaring Holidays.If I am not wrong this is the procedure.If the below mentioned procedure is wrong may please correct me.
Eevery year in the month of Nov,DLC will declare the list of Holidays to be observed for the next year, after that based on the list given by DLC the principal employer will again submit a form mentioning that 4 National Holidays and 4 festival holidays to be observed in their establishment for Approval .Based on his approval they will communicate the same to their sub contractors.
If we donot follow the Holidays list declared by the principal employer what are the legal obligations we have to face in this regard
