Hello,
I live in a building of 32 flats. 29 of our members are keen to form a housing co-op society and we have submitted our proposal to the registrar to form the society. Now builder has come back to us and given a written statement that he has already made DEED OF DECLARATION for apartment and so we cannot form the housing co-op society and if we need to form it we should first cancel the DEED. We just want to know how important DOD is and if DOD is made is it that all the flats haven been converted into apartments. Is it advisable to continue to fight the case that we have put to get teh society registered under builder non co-opertaion.
