How to expedite trial in Magistrates Court in Mumbai?

A case was filed in 2012 in Magistrates Court at Bandra.

1st hearing was held in 2017!

Thereafter tarikh par tarikh because a influential person is helping in delaying the case against accused.

Last date was December 23 and next date in August 24.

What could be done in the matter for expeditious conclusion?

Instead of looking for expediting the case, you may resort to file a petition under section 482 cr.p.c. to quash the case due to inordinate delay and mental harassment caused due to this

Sir with due respect why complainant should apply to quash the genuine case that to after having been looted of 4 lacs?

Your original post appeared to be in favor of the accused hence the opinion was given accordingly.

If you are a defacto complainant then you may have to wait for the court proceedings  or you can file a petition under section 482 cr.p.c. before high court to direct the trial court to dispose the matter within a short duration by conducting an expeditious trial.

File a writ petition before Bombay High Court through your lawyer.
