Hi All My Brief Story of 498A and DV act. After my marraige i got 2BHK flat under MHADA lottery. After two months only my wife lodged complaint under 498A tht i m demanding Rs 5Lakh for buying that house from her mother. The actual value of tht house is Rs 50 lakh. Now i sold tht house to some other person. Under the MHADA rules u cant sell tht house for 5 years. But ther is some relife tht u can give on caretaker basis. Now i fear tht my wife can ask tht she dont have house to live and i hve taken tht house. then can she claim to live tht house. and maintenance too... I know tht she have 1 house in mumbai on her name but i dont know the excat location. so how can i get information that or can i say while in trail tht she have house on her name. plz advice? thanks
