How to serve summons if the accused are not present

How to serve summons to people who are not present in the address but i know their house ?

Thanks but is there any other way that i can serve. I know the other accused who is present in court , through them can i send ?

Since you used the word accused then it is a criminal case. It is the responsibility of that person (if he is accused ) to present himself before court otherwise court may issue non bailable warrant
