My mother have 4 brothers and 2 sisters. My grand father running business started by His father. i.e. my mother's grand father. My mother's grand father acquired some properties. Now the 4 brothers divided the family property without giving share to my mother. They told all properties acquired by our grand father. Hence, there is no right to ask the equal share of the property by woman. We have filed suit against the Partition. The case was pending with High Court of Chennai.
Please let me know the 2005 Hindu succession Act amendment applicable for my case.
