every case needs speedy trial sp the ultimate result is further delay.

There is no such provision for speedy trial in CPC, but the Amended CPC says More than 3 adjounments can not be granted in whole trial, but that is only directory.

What our learned friend Nadeem Qureshi said is the correct.   But one point to be noted here, of  the petitions filed for speedy disposal, the Presiding Officer may get prejudice.   In my sincere opinion, it is better to file transfer Petition from one court to another along with the petition for speedy trial.

Pl seek a transfer to  fast track courts, if your subject matter permits..

it is possible by your advocate.. he may speedup the proceess ..

if it is not posted in trail  he may ask to posted in LIST

you must say  the present  stage of the case then only  we can say what next....
