dear mr assumi thanks for ref case law.fm a cross ref i could for gatherto claim interest for arrear salary -interest act is applicable and on the other hand s. 34 will be attracted when there is unliquidated damages and in that case TITLE will be "SUIT FOR PAYMENT OF MONEY"kindly let us know if you have further commenton it.dr sc pratihar

Have you gone through that Classics case of Calcutta High Court which i send you in your personal message? Any way you can also read that Sec 34 of the CPC with Order XXXIV Rule 2 and 11 and check your personal message, as i am sure that Calcutta HC case will give you a clear picture of your position.
