CAN AN AUDIO RECORDING THROUGH MOBILE , BE USED AS A EVIDENCE IN COURT?
chiranjib mukherjee (Advocate) 17 July 2009
I think expert opinion will be needed first

It depends on case to case, isn't it? I am not expert here but my reasoning tells me that court shouldn't treat it as the only evidence unless it's authenticty is proved by some sceintific methods. Technology has been changing rapidly, so Law can not just stick to old principles and treat it as a primary evidence.
Kiran Kumar (Lawyer) 17 July 2009
Electronic document is admissible in evidence.
but in ur case the audio recorded have to be corroborated with supporting evidence.
like records from the telecom company, voice samples etc.
but it is not admissible per se.
rightly said the technology is changing so is the way of life but the misuse of technology can not be ruled out....afterall electronic gaget to amenable to any kind of interference.
