A deceased member of a Cooperative housing society and his deceased nominee (wife) left behind 2 sons and on married daughter.
Now the legal heirs informed the Society that their younger son may be inducted as the member of the Society and the elder brother will be the nominee.
Reportedly the title deed including Share Certificate is not traceable by the legal heirs.
The legal heirs requested the Secretary of the Cooperative Society for issuing a Duplicate Share Certificate for their requirements.
Can the Housing Cooperative Society issue a duplicate Share Certificate in the name of the deceased member and what are the necessities for such issuance of duplicate Share Certificate?
