Joint defendents

i have taken an educational loan in my son's name. now the bank has filed a suit for recovery. they are demanding an adhoc amount without any details. our request for a statement of a/c did not produce any response.

my son is 1st defendent and me the the 2nd

is there any way i can defend myself and my son in court personally with out an advocate?

do i need an authorisation from my son?

@Querist,

You have two option. Either you hire a lawyer or you let your son defend himself.

You can't defend your son on behalf of him.
