What is age of the child under the juvenile justice act? Is it 16 or 18 years? Please reply with relevent sections of Juvenile Justice Act?

Read S. 2 (k) of the THE JUVENILE JUSTICE (CARE AND PROTECTION OF CHILDREN) ACT, 2000,

"juvenile" or "child" means a person who has not completed eighteenth year of age.
