KYC Guidelines

Do KYC Guidelines appny on an NBFC (not holding public deposits) ?

AS PER CIRCULAR           DBOD.NO.AML.BC.58/14.01.001/2004-05

Eg an NBFC NOT HOLDING PUBLIC DEPOSIT doing the business of an Investment company.....does it have to follow KYC Guidelines and pass necessary Board resolution ?

KYC NORMS TO AVOID ANTI MONEY LAUNDERING ACTIVITIES,SO AML ACTS SAY TO KNOW YOUR CUSTOMER...IS MUST FOR ALL NBFCS.
