Labour law information

Hi , I work for a publishing company which outsources it's job to suppliers. We wanted to know the individual performance of the supplier who is working on our products. But the supplier is refusing to provide the information saying that the performance score of individual is confidential and against the labour law. I wanted to know if that's the truth. Because being a client company we will like to know about the supplier's individual performance. Please help us give more information on this.

Yes, It is contract for service, not contract of sevice.you set standards to be followed by the suppliers and evaluate over all, that is permitted.if you start supervising their employees performance individualy then you will be considered as employer of them with the right to discipline them.it is better to avoid direct & close supervision.
