Succession and Tenancy Acts are totally different, you will appreciate.

Your local advocate may explore the possibilities of using easement rights if any in your favour to find a solution through process of court, if you are unable to purchase the land for a way from your neighbour.

Continuous use for more than 20 years entitles you for easement rights. The person who acquired the tenancy is bound to honor the subsisting easement rights.
