Land grabbing

Respected sir

me and my family are willing to buy a property at indore.But my parents are afraid of land grabbing there as also we are not the residents of the city. But because of our condition we have to buy it. But because of above mentioned problem we couldnot do so.My parents thinks the people may be very harmful and may not release our land easily.

please advice me how to fight legally for such case if this problem occurs in future .I beleive in sortig the situations legally.

please help me.

Hi Mukul, Keep in mind that by buying a piece of LAnd, theres a lot that is accompanied with that One transaction. However, before the purchase you need to check the if the Title is clear. Please hire a Lawyer and get the TITLE INVESTIGATION done. (This basically means that to see if the Title does not have any defect.i.e, not sold to multiple people at the same time, not mortgaged to bank etc adn many other reasons). You will also need to see a lot of documents such as the FERFAAR etc, 7/12 extract and also keep in mind that buying a peice of land may be easy, further keeping encrochers out is not! Eviction proceeding will need to be initiated in the court where the property is located. As you mentioned youa re not residing in the area where the Land is. So, please see if its viable to do so. ALso, FENCING etc are additonal expenses to be taken care of.
