Dear experts,
I have planned to buy a property which is under family partition,. family dispute has not yet finalised. One of the legal share holder asks payment by entering into unregistered sale agreement. Is it legally valid. or kindly advise better options.

Hello,

I will advise to avoid the transaction and buy some other property as the dispute is not finalised and the seller is also not ready to execute the registered agreement.

You can purchase only after their partition. Otherwise you can for another property.

Without family settlement at least among legal heirs, it is not advisable to take risk of buying.
