To answer your query as per my understanding, you can get the property transferred to mutated to your name, if that property is a landed property. You can approach the tahashildars office for the same and get the formalities done. You need to apply for the death certificate of your mother, have to get your birth certificate or ration card to show your relationship with the deceased. If either of your paternal or maternal grand mother is alive then they are also entitled to share the property along with you. When you get a no objection from everyone you can file for the mutation.
