IA allowed for paying deficient stamp duty on rental agreement with a condition that defendant can test the document and cross examine while receiving in evidence by appeal court

But no stamp penalty amount mentioned in that interim order

Now original rental agreement with deficent stamp duty filed with memo instead of proof affidavit in appeal court

The case is posted for argument

how to mark that document

pls suggest ?

Memo filing is enough.

When writing a memo to court, include the following information.

  • Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, email address)
  • The date
  • The recipient’s name and the name of the court
  • A subject line stating what the letter will address (if in email form)
  • A greeting or salutation

Yes, the deficient stamp duty and the penalty thereto could be remited on the basis of memo.
