Law optional for upsc exam

I m preparing for upsc and I m graduate in Economics but i have developed interest in Law so i want to choose law as an optional subject . I want to know is it right decision?

Basically it is nto at a legal query.

The subject you chooose for CS examination putely dependt upon you aptitude and confidence.
