Lawyer asking orginal registration documents

Our land went to litigation where lawyer asked 20,000Rs .So we gave 20,000 fee for lawyer.Now LAwyer asking orginal registration documents,not filing case and posponing since month

Query:IS orginal sale deed documents requiredto file case and what I need to do If lawyer not willing to file case

For filing the case Original dcoumenst is not necessary you can provide the photo copies, ,ay be he is not intrested in filing the case just complaint about him to the Bar and meanwhile look for some good lawyer otherwise also he is going to spil your case as apprant from your narration...

what is the nature of suit? you can file suit with phoyocopy, however at the time of evidence original is required to be marked to be read as your evidence.. in some cases lawyers will institute cases along with original, or sometime they institute with photocopy and at the time of evidence they will produce original..

what was the payment mode and if lawyer not filing then ask him to give back money and documents go with other advocate if he reject to pay back money then complent to barcouncil to remove his licence
