Lawyers Conduct

Hi

Please guide on the action that can be taken against a lawyer for the following:

a) Physically assaulting the respondent

b) To misquote the High Court judgement/order of a case where the lawyer was a counsil to the particular, and misrepresent it in another case

File criminal complaint to the police and also file complaint against him for disciplinary action  to the Bar Council of your State.

May I have the "rules & code of conduct" pertaining to advocates. website or link of relevant cts, sections would be helpful.

There are thousands of disciplinary action cases decided by the Bar Council of India. Get a copy of the Advocates Act 1961.

Complaint  the same to concerned state Bar Council. Disciplinary committee defnitely take action against your lawyer.

a) Make a complaint with the police.

b) make a complaint with the state Bar Council concerned.
