Dear Legal Experts,
Sombody is planning to lay electric lines over my private property. When I tried to submit the objection letter personally to JE MESCOM of that particular location (Karnataka Electricity Board - Mangalore Division), he did not accept it. I have sent the same through registered post and I have the acknowledgement for the delivery.
I have recieved a RTI reply stating that the prior consent/NOC of the land owner is must before laying electriclines over private property.
I just want to know what are the legal options available for me, if they lay the electriclines without my consent and without my knowledge as I am out of station.
Do I have any legal option to stop them laying electriclines over my property?
