I have a commercial property and have been giving the same on rent under Leave and Licence agreement from last 34 years to the same individual, renewing it after every 6 years, i.e 6+6+6+6+6+6 Does such arrangement gives tenancy rights to the licencee???? As I have heard that as per law giving a property to same individual on rent for more than 5 years, under L&L agreement gives him tenancy rights over the property My property is in kolkata.....Kindly Advice
